You might know it’s big sister, Beaucoup Fish, on the other side of the street. On this side you can expect the same quality and attention to ingredients but with a slightly different focus. Let them have their fish, this is where Belgian dishes take centre stage. And yes, of course the best fries and carbonnade.
the mission
With a strong restaurant concept already formed, we were asked to come up with ideas and subsequently design a brand identity that visually translated the story and fitted the existing interior—oh and help with their name.
the results
The name ‘Beaucoup Belge’ just rolls off the tongue, ties in perfectly with its sister restaurant and clearly defines what it’s all about. It was a bit of a no brainer.
The dynamic logo offers so many opportunities in both print and digital use. And that’s not the only place we play around with letters, the mix of french and dutch makes it all very Bruxellois. Eating good food is one of life's greatest joys. At Beaucoup Belge, you not only drool over the dishes on this menu, but also over the amazing Gmund paper that is made from spent brewer's grain. The gentle flecking of brewer's grain creates a unique surface with just a hint of texture and we just can’t get enough. The horizontal lines are a gentle nod to Belgian cycling culturing, reminiscent of vintage cycling outfits and café society. The colourful colour palette allows the red to really stand out on the paper and gets you excited to try out new yet traditional food.
