studio basil. was founded in 2017 and is run by two sisters Ann-Sophie and Barbara. Over the years we've had loads of fun creating and growing the team. We’re full of ideas and are excited to continue visualizing dream brands for amazing clients.

Ann-Sophie
Founder & Creative director
is the founder of studio basil. During her Erasmus in Barcelona she fell in love with retail and hospitality design. She gained four years experience in London and when moving back, started studio basil. With a passion for concepts and graphics, she dances through the studio. Luckily her skills are better than her rhythm. Mum of three and big BXL lover.
Barbara
Co-owner & Business director
is our business brain, probably even more creative than the rest of the crew. First client contact, account, HR and the one who makes sure everybody is always happy and well fed. Together with her sister, they form a perfect team, complementing each other in every way. Barbara loves to try out new restaurants, travel and always has a new project on her hands. She's a cat-lady and the funniest cat in town.
Jasmin
Graphic designer & Illustrator
Jasmin joined the studio in 2021 as graphic designer and illustrator and overall creative genius. Offering the best punch lines, she's a sarcastic little American with Italian roots, that travelled all the way from Portland, via Scotland to Brussels. Dog-mom of Otis, who she regularly brings to work.
Lauren
Graphic & Product designer
Coming all the way from Antwerp, Lauren immediately won our hearts with her enthusiasm (and portfolio). With a degree in product design, she learned her graphic skills in Barcelona. Middle child of three sisters, she fits perfectly in our female team. She loves taking pictures and the good thing is: she's really great at it!
Otis
Crumb collector
Being blind in one eye and a dog, he's not that great at design, but he'll alert the whole building if the door bell rings. He suffers from extreme FOMO around food and hates baths (see picture above). At roughly 56 years old he's the oldest member of the studio, but don't let that fool you, he'll still run circles around us all.
