For her inspiring project Natuurspeeldoos, Riet asked us to create a playful and warm brand identity. Rooted in a deep love for nature and sustainability, this concept invites children and families to explore the outdoors with curiosity and joy. Since we all have fond memories of muddy knees and rainy day adventures, we were excited to help bring this back to life in a fresh, colorful way.
the mission
Natuurspeeldoos is all about slowing down and connecting, with each other and with nature. Our goal was to design a look and feel that captures that sense of wonder and discovery. The visual identity needed to appeal to both kids and parents who value meaningful play and sustainability, offering a joyful gateway to outdoor learning.
the results
The brand comes alive through hand-drawn doodles and vibrant colors, creating a world that feels as if it was crafted by children themselves. The playful Sprat Condensed font adds personality without being over the top. Whether it’s a rainy day or a sunny walk in the park, Natuurspeeldoos invites families to embrace the magic of nature together. The identity works seamlessly across print and digital channels, making every moment outdoors a little more special.
