The personal approach of neig.architecten is their signature. Translating the clients wishes and remaining truthful to their own aesthetics. With neig.architecten, Jolien wanted to demonstrate, yet never impose, her expertise and to have it result in projects that are all ‘NEIG’ (cool).
the mission
Feeling strong about being female in the industry, we wanted to highlight both strength and fluidity. As well as the subtle ways in which architects leave their own watermarks on the places they play a role in shaping.
the results
The final abstract shapes we created to boldly represent Neig architecten are reminiscent of whirling water which over time carves new landscapes—much like an architect. A mixture of analogue and digital techniques paired with a vibrant colour palette reflect the practice of creativity and construction. The lowercase wordmark imbues understated integrity and authority while the dynamic compositions mirror the endless possibilities for expression when embarking on new projects.
