This multi-generational business has been championing women in various ways for decades. Finally, it was time to give them a boost with a fresh and modern rebranding. We're excited to witness this fantastic business not just survive but flourish in its community for many more generations.
Elke and Sofie, the dynamic duo who inherited the business from their mom (who, in turn, inherited it from Marie France), came to us to enhance the store's identity to connect with younger generations. Our aim was to give it a contemporary twist while preserving its timeless essence.
With the transition from 'Marie France' to 'Les Filles de Marie France,' our aim is to honor the rich history while ushering in a new era of celebration. The fusion of a high-contrast script font with a bold sans-serif allows us to accentuate both facets of the brand's name. 'Les filles de' in the script font exudes a youthful charm, while 'Marie France' stands as a testament to strength, assurance, and timelessness.
The overall result strikes a harmonious balance, evoking nostalgia for days gone by while embracing a distinctly modern essence. Complementing this visual identity are illustrations that joyfully celebrate the diverse spectrum of women across all stages of life. These visuals embody the core mission of the brand — a commitment to supporting and uplifting the women within its community.
